Recording: “What is the Church’s Role in Reparations?”

In this Soundings Seminar conversation, Bill Haley (Coracle Executive Director) is joined by Rev. Duke Kwon and Dr. Gregory Thompson to discuss their new book Reparations: A Christian Call for Repentance and Renewal.  They lay out how the book helps American Christians See the pervasive sin of white supremacy through our history, Own the need for restoration of wealth, truth, and power stolen from black communities, and embrace the biblical call to Repair our communities.  They explain how the church is uniquely equipped to take up the complex question of reparations, and they share candidly about why so many Christians resist taking this question seriously.

It is a stimulating and inspiring conversation, and we hope you’ll be blessed by it!  If you are interested in reading this important book in community with other Christians at your church or in your community, please download our free Small Group Study Guide to help you keep the conversation going!
