“Living Stories: Empathy as Groundwork for Peace”

In this “Space for God” devotional, Ken Wettig (Coracle Community Minister for the Shenandoah Valley) shares a story from Desmond Tutu, a South African Anglican cleric.  It is a profound story about Tutu’s first encounter with Trevor Huddleston, a white Anglican priest who came across a young Tutu and his mother one day on the street.  Huddleston’s actions that day changed the course of Tutu’s life and capture something transformative about God’s heart of empathy.  We hope you’ll follow along to see how the story unfolds and to see how God wants to encounter you through it!
