The American Church a Year After George Floyd

In this “Soundings Seminar,” Rev. Darryl Ford (Ikon Community Church) joins Rev. Bill Haley (Coracle Executive Director) for a clear-eyed conversation about the state of racial healing and justice in American churches one year after George Floyd’s death. They discuss differences between Black and White church communities, some common reasons why people resist conversations around race, and ways forward towards Christian communities that better reflect the hospitality and justice of God’s Kingdom.
