On October 8, long-time Coracle friend Sami DiPasquale of Abara Borderland Connections joined Bill Haley for a Soundings Seminar to discuss the intersection of US Immigration policy and the teachings of the Christian faith.  Sami shared stories from his decades of Christian ministry work in El Paso/Ciudad Juarez, with a particular focus on how much things have changed for the men, women, and children seeking asylum in the United States over the last year.  Whether or not immigration is currently dominating the news cycle, the lives of these children of God should always matter to Christians who worship a Lord who was himself a refugee (Matt 2:13-18).  We hope you are blessed by this conversation, which is part of our “Christian Discipleship & The 2020 Election” Initiative.
