Coracle Fellowship: Online
Class of 2025
Are you…
-
Longing for More and wanting to move deeper in your relationship with God?
-
At a crossroads in your life and wanting to process where you’ve been and where you’re going, discerning God’s next step?
-
Ready to step further into the beauty and brokenness of the world and bring some healing?
-
Feeling stuck in your spiritual life?
-
Aching to give yourself more fully to God?
If you find yourself in any of these places, the Coracle Fellowship is for you.
The Coracle Fellowship Online leads you through a year-long process of discovery and formation with others seeking More in their relationship with God and in their redemptive engagement with the brokenness that surrounds us all. It is a program of “Spiritual Formation For Kingdom Action.” The world needs more people who are alive and strong in God for the sake of the world. That is why we offer this program, so that you might become God’s joyful and redemptive presence wherever you are and wherever God leads you.
By the end of your Fellowship experience, here are our hopes for you:
that you would know God’s love more truly – understand Jesus more clearly – connect with God more easily – embrace your uniqueness more deeply – understand your vocations more confidently – live more hopefully – hear God’s voice more readily – participate in God’s redemptive work more eagerly – trust God more radically – live more fully with great joy.
The Coracle Fellowship Online is woven around a framework of twelve day-long retreats, which will be held in conjunction with our Coracle Fellowship in Northern Virginia. Each retreat will be live-streamed over Zoom, with a dedicated ministry team for Online Fellows. The Coracle Fellowship Online will also include other key elements experienced individually and in group settings. These elements include:
recommended readings – exposure to a variety of spiritual disciplines – written reflections – small group discussions – opportunities to connect outside of retreats – the opportunity to participate in other Coracle offerings over the course of the year – and the opportunity to synthesize what you have learned in a final reflection project.
All the while, we encourage you to continue to participate regularly in your home church.
On top of individualized attention to your spiritual journey and growth, we will provide a Fellowship reading list, a robust notebook of retreat resources, a specialized prayer book, and a journal for your use throughout the program.
Please reach out to us at fellowship@inthecoracle.org with any questions you might have!

The Coracle Fellowship faculty is made up primarily of our staff including Rev. Bill Haley, our spiritual directors, and others.
Cost: The cost for the full year including retreats and materials and personal retreat is $1,350 or $113 per retreat. The cost of books is not included in this amount, nor are additional donations for sessions with a spiritual director, which would be offered separately and directly to your spiritual director.
Scholarships: We are glad and able to offer some scholarship help for the Coracle Fellowship experience. Particularly, Coracle is excited about and committed to the leadership and contribution of people of color in spiritual formation. Therefore we have scholarships available if that will enable participation. For any African American brothers or sisters who would like to participate, we are excited to offer full scholarships as part of our Howard Thurman Scholarship program.
If you are interested in a scholarship, please indicate this in your application. We want whoever God is drawing to this to be able to participate in it!
