“Attachment and Indifference”

In this “Space for God,” Bill Haley guides us into the challenging but liberating practice of indifference.  In Ignatian spirituality, “indifference” is not a negative word, but simply means a lack of undue attachment to anything but God.  Bill walks us through a few prompts to help all of us recognize the things in our lives around which our hands are clenched too tightly to receive what God might be trying to give us.

This reflection was offered as part of Coracle’s “Discernment: Hearing God’s Voice in a Noisy World” 2022 Series.
