“Two years ago during Lent I felt led, in an unusually clear way, to listen  to Jesus’ call to us, “Pray Like This.”  It occurred to me, as it never had so much before, that since Jesus instructed that we should use each of these phrases to come into the presence of His Hallowed Father, I would do well to listen very carefully and accept the invitation.  So over those days I asked the Holy Spirit to grow me, by His Word, in the understanding of each phrase, and so to lead me in praying each phrase. It so blessed me and I have tried to capture it on paper.  I thought perhaps it might also bless you, as the Lord has graciously blessed me in approaching Him more richly by this means.”
