Finding Ways Forward for Peace in Israel/Palestine, Together

We love this bold statement of faith issued from a meeting of Messianic Jews and Palestinian Christians, hosted by the Lausanne Initiative for Reconciliation in Israel-Palestine (LIRIP) and held in Cyprus in January 2016.  Born out of a long-standing relationship between the two co-chairs of the meeting, and their shared longing for the church to be the beacon of “of ethnic reconciliation” and an “active advocate for conflict resolution”, the resulting Larnaca Document lays out the tenets of unity and  biblical foundations of this agreement.  This is a beautiful and important model for Christ-centered reconciliation. The Christianity Today article provides a great overview and some good links about background. We would encourage you to read it and, if you feel led, sign the document as well.
