With the hustle and bustle of work, school, and church, I find it hard sometimes to take a deep breath. Sometimes we carve room for that special time of rest, and other times, it falls upon us like Gods saving mercy. The image of our planet from Mars struck Bill and I last week in wonder. Its an image that sets you back in your seat and makes you say, “wow.” How little do we know about this universe that God created for us, and how much are we taking care of our planet? Those were some questions I pondered when I saw this image. Perhaps you have some thoughts too.

18Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, the only doer of wonders. 19Praise to the glory of his noble name for ever; let all the earth be full of his glory. So be it, So be it. (Psalms 72)
God does many wonders, and I appreciate the things I do not understand. I thank God for his beautiful creation of the earth around me wherever I go. I thank God for my opportunities, and for putting me in my place when my schedule is too full to sit back and say, “wow.”
