The Coracle Community is an ecumenical group of people committed to contemplation, transformation, and Kingdom engagement. We are fellow-pilgrims pursuing union with God and deeper life in Jesus together for Love’s sake in the world.
The Coracle Community at Corhaven
The Coracle Community at Corhaven is an ecumenical, short to mid-term residential community formed in the spirit of Benedictine tradition with its rhythms of work, study, and prayer in community, focusing on ministries of 1) hospitality and spiritual retreat, 2) creation care and spirituality, and 3) justice and reconciliation.
Coracle Baltimore
Our first independent chapter formed! Coracle Baltimore desires to see people deeply formed in Jesus so that they can love well and be empowered to engage with the needs of their neighbors.
The Coracle Spiritual Formation Fellowship
The Coracle Fellowship leads you through a process of discovery and formation in community with others seeking more in their relationships with God and in their redemptive engagement in the brokenness that surrounds us all. We offer a 12-month version in Arlington and a 10-month version in Baltimore.
Spiritual Retreats at Corhaven
Corhaven derives its name from the Latin word for heart, “cor”, and from the concept of a “haven” as a sanctuary, shelter or resting place for weary travelers. It is, in short, a place of shelter and “a harbor for the heart”—a sanctuary in the Shenandoah Valley for all those seeking rest, renewal and a deeper awareness of God’s love, and encounters with God.

For spiritual accompaniment on the journey… spiritual direction is the process whereby one person offers a listening, prayerful presence to another while they journey together with God.

Coracle offers trips to the sacred spaces and broken places of the world to offer individuals the opportunity to practice the ancient spiritual discipline of pilgrimage—taking a journey with God, to meet God, together.
