Friends, three years ago this month Coracle launched Space for God – an intentional virtual prayer time that happens every Tuesday morning (and now every other Thursday, too!). This gathering has become an important weekly rhythm for many of us and we are so grateful for how the Lord continues to speak and move among us.
Each week we come together to explore and experience ancient, contemporary, and innovative spiritual practices that not only create space for God to encounter us in that moment, but also give us disciplines so that we can encounter God more deeply any time. For example, in our Space for God Archive, you’ll find recordings on imaginative Gospel readings, lectio & visio divina, art explorations on painters like Titian and Henry Ossawa Tanner, as well as poets like Gerard Manley Hopkins, Jessica Powers, and the Hebridean saints. You’ll find advent and lenten reflections as well as devotionals on topics ranging from lament, vocation, justice, creation care, discernment, spiritual formation, and more! Additionally, each month we have specific Space for God reflections that focus on Biblical interpretation and also on encountering God through Beauty. I hope you’ll scroll through the archive to see what a gorgeous range of diversity there is and find some recordings that will help you create space for God in your own life.
One more thing! Just recently we introduced Space for God: Thursdays, which is a bi-weekly offering on Thursdays at 8:30 AM (Pacific Time) for those of our friends in different time zones and for those who cannot attend on Tuesday mornings. We’d love for you to join us (even if you attend on Tuesdays!). Thank you all for joining us on this journey – the Lord continues to be so near and present to us.
