In this “Simple Soundings” Devotional, Danny Nasry (Coracle Community Minister) reflects on the account of Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven from the book of Acts. He highlights how disorienting this experience would have been for the disciples, who had been forced to re-make their “normals” numerous times over the course of their 3 years with Jesus. The hope for those disoriented, stiff-necked disciples is our hope as well, resistant as we are to surrender our “normals” to God’s surprising, inbreaking Kingdom.
