Friends, I’ll be in Shanghai March 6-16 to preach at a couple of churches and to lead a couple of retreats, and looking forward to being hosted by and seeing some old friends from St. Brendan’s in the City.   The major themes of the retreats and speaking are spiritual formation and disciplines, vocation and work, and the purpose of the church.  Most of the people I’ll be interacting with are Chinese nationals and expats in business and other vocations, as well as some church leaders.  I’ve hoped to go to China for a long time (where 1/6 of the world lives!) and I’m so excited to finally have the opportunity, and with that opportunity to minister.  I would greatly appreciate your prayers, and plan on writing a reflection on our blog when I get back.  Thank you!   Bill
