Justice and Mercy

RECORDING: “Justice, Mercy & Humility | The Authentic Apology (pt 1)”

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8 NKJV

Live Justly, Love, Mercy, Walk Humbly…

These are three instructions that we have received from our Lord about how to live, but what do they mean?  How can we identify our need to live this out, and what does it look like to do so?  Over the next few months, we will discuss what each of these means and how we can respond.

In this installment, Rev. Chris Lugo (Coracle Community Minister) facilitates a discussion with Wade Mullen about the dynamics, requirements, and fruits of an authentic apology.  Wade is the author of the book Something’s Not Right: Decoding the Hidden Tactics of Abuse and Freeing Yourself from Its Power.

“Anytime there is a discussion about giving authentic apologies, I hear from those who describe the confusing experience of being on the receiving end of pseudo-apologies, particularly of the variety containing the two-letter word ‘if.'”
