Elizabeth grew up on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. She practiced law in Washington, D.C., after which she worked in business management. For the last eighteen years, her primary focus has been inviting people to explore new vistas in emotional, relational, and spiritual growth through spiritual direction, life coaching, writing, retreats, and seminars. She received her formal training in spiritual direction through the Selah program. For Elizabeth, spiritual direction is grounded in a deep confidence that God is always working for good in the ordinary day-to-dayness of our lives and that, if we ask and listen attentively together, God will gently and gladly direct. She and her husband Wray live in McLean, Virginia, and attend Restoration Anglican Church. They have three adult children and five grandchildren. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys swimming, writing, photography, exploring the enneagram, and participating in a 12-step program.
