“Two elements of the fellowship in particular have helped me to experience (not just intellectually believe in) the reality of Christ living his abundant life in and through me. First is the rooting and grounding in God’s love for us – the topic of the first retreat. It is one thing to know that God loves me and that Jesus’ death on the Cross is ample evidence of that. It is quite another to receive and live fully in the reality of that extravagant love. Another element of the fellowship, practicing solitude and silence, provides space for me to do just that – live more fully in God’s transforming love.
